Upcoming Events:
The Overmountain Weavers Guild meets at Exchange Place in Kingsport, TN on the third Wednesday of the month. In addition, members demonstrate and sell their handmade items at a number of events throughout the year. Please visit our CALENDAR page for details about upcoming Guild programs and other events.
Inclement Weather Policy:
The Overmountain Weavers Guild follows the Kingsport City Schools inclement weather policy. We will also send emails to active Guild members regarding any schedule changes. Members and visitors are always encouraged to use their best judgment before traveling to a meeting or other event in bad weather.
The Overmountain Weavers Guild (OMWG) was established to teach, stimulate, and furnish inspiration, information, and mutual assistance in the growth and development of handweaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, basketry, and related fiber arts. Anyone interested in learning, and expanding their knowledge and skills in these areas is welcome to join.
