Overmountain Weavers Guild 2024-25 Challenge

September 2024 - April 2025

If you are an experienced weaver (over two years weaving) and you have a project currently on your loom, but haven't finished if off, it must be finished for this challenge by the April 2025 guild meeting.

If you are an experienced weaver (over two years weaving), but do not have a project currently on a loom, but your project has only been on your mind, thoughts and in your brain, you must complete this project by the April 2025 guild meeting.

If you are a new weaver (under two years of weaving experience) you must complete one project of something you had hoped to weave when you first started weaving, an inspirational piece, or a next-level weaving project, etc.  You may also ask an experienced weaver for recommendations or encouragement or assistance - perhaps they will give you yarn from their stash on a long-awaited project for you to use.  We all have yarn that we think we will use and never get around to it.  It's time to pass some things on.  It's okay to do that.  This project will be due for the April 2025 meeting.

This challenge is to encourage you to weave, not to frustrate you.  We hope everyone will participate. 

Minimal prizes will be awarded.
