The Overmountain Weavers Guild is pleased to announce that they are bringing their Fall Fiber Festival “home” to the Exchange Place in Kingsport, TN! Previously hosted by the Sycamore Shoals State Historic Site in Elizabethton, this annual fiber event features local fiber producers and artists who will be on-site all weekend, selling their locally-grown fleeces, yarns, rovings and hand-crafted fiber products. Members of the Guild will be demonstrating their fiber crafts, including spinning, weaving and felting. The event is free to the public and family-friendly! Open Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-5.

**The Exchange Place Gift Shop and Burow Museum will both be open all weekend. The Burow Museum features two antique Appalachian rocker-beater looms, restored and put back into service by members of the Overmountain Weavers Guild.  A temporary exhibit is currently on display highlighting the history of crochet in the region.

Tours of the farmstead will also be offered throughout the event for $5 per person.  Proceeds support The Exchange Place.
